Sustainable buildings and green certification
Myrtha technologies are mapped to the main international green building protocols, so the pool can contribute to the building’s certification.
The pool as part of the certification
For many public and commercial buildings, an environmental certification is a requirement or an ambition. Myrtha technologies are designed to fit the main international green building protocols, so the pool and wellness areas can be part of that pathway rather than an exception.
Certification schemes
- LEED: Myrtha systems contribute to energy and water efficiency, responsible material management, indoor environmental quality and innovation.
- BREEAM: Myrtha’s BREEAM mapping shows the contribution to reducing environmental impact over the building’s lifecycle.
- Green Star: recognises the focus on durability, emission reduction and user wellbeing.
- Singapore Green Building Product: rating “Very Good” for the stainless steel panels and “Excellent” for the Myrtha Evolution membranes.
In the BeNeLux
For projects that aim for BREEAM-NL or a comparable certification, we help your adviser identify the relevant contributions of the pool. The certification documents from Myrtha are available on request.
Design & Build with EWAC Pools
