Strahlenturbulenz: circulation through the pool walls
An advanced circulation system with water inlets in the pool walls only, and no piping in the pool floor.
How it works
Strahlenturbulenz feeds water into the pool exclusively through the walls. Integrated, adjustable nozzles create controlled flows using the Venturi effect. Because there is no piping in the pool floor, construction is simpler and the floor stays free of inlets.
Validated with CFD
The flow pattern is validated with CFD (computational fluid dynamics). The design eliminates stagnant zones and gives an even water quality throughout the pool. Each nozzle can be adjusted individually, even after installation, so the flow can be calibrated precisely. At the Twentebad in Hengelo, the circulation of the renovated 50-metre pool was designed with CFD.
