Removable headwalls
The raised end wall that competition rules require, in pools with an overflow edge on all four sides.
Why headwalls are needed
World Aquatics requires competition pools with overflow on all four sides to have headwalls 30 cm above the water level at both the start and turning ends. Removable headwalls provide this without interrupting the overflow edge during daily use.
How they work
- A modular stainless steel structure that carries touch pads, starting blocks, lane-line anchors and officials.
- Modular headwalls in independent 2.5 m modules with retractable, adjustable wheels; one person can move a module.
- Anti-slip finish, built to withstand the forces of flip turns.
