Partner with EWAC Pools
Many parties work together on a public swimming pool. The installer takes care of water treatment and the indoor climate, the contractor builds the building and the architect designs it. EWAC Pools builds the pool itself: the stainless-steel walls, floor and overflow gutters, and the movable floors and bulkheads.
What EWAC Pools does in your project
As the authorised Myrtha Pools dealer for the BeNeLux, we build and renovate stainless-steel swimming pools, from teaching pools to competition pools.
- Myrtha stainless-steel pools: walls and floor made of modular stainless-steel panels with a PVC layer, for new build, competition and leisure pools
- Renovation inside the existing pool (RenovAction): a new stainless-steel pool inside the existing concrete pool, without demolishing the concrete structure
- Movable floors and bulkheads: large floors via Myrtha, smaller floors built by EWAC
- Competition dimensions: pools built to World Aquatics requirements
- Local support in the Netherlands and Belgium: project management, installation and service from Heerhugowaard
Who we work with
- Pool technology installers: you handle water treatment, climate and energy; we build the pool itself. We agree the connections (overflow gutters, inlets, balance tank) with you at an early stage
- Contractors and joint ventures: a pool builder that supports your schedule. Because the panels are made in the factory, construction time on site is short
- D&B, DBM and DBFMO consortia: input on design, service life and maintenance of the pool, suited to long-term contracts
- Consultants and architects: specification texts, dimensions and technical data for your brief. See also pool design for architects
How we work together
- Early stage: type of pool, dimensions and budget, including during the tender phase.
- Design: coordination with the installer and architect on water circulation, floors, bulkheads and connections.
- Construction: supply and installation of the pool, aligned with the building schedule.
- Handover and operation: documentation, training and maintenance advice for the operator or consortium.
Why contract the pool separately?
A stainless-steel pool lasts for decades, while the installations are often replaced once or more in that period. Placing the pool itself with a specialist lets every partner focus on its own expertise. You get one clear point of contact for watertightness, dimensions and service life. Working in Belgium
EWAC Pools works in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia. For municipalities planning projects under the Flemish swimming pool decree, we work with the consortium as the pool builder.
Frequently asked questions
Does EWAC Pools supply water treatment?
No. We build the pool itself, with movable floors and bulkheads. For water treatment and climate systems, we work with specialist installers.
Can EWAC Pools join a D&B or DBM consortium?
Yes, as pool builder or subcontractor. We provide service-life and maintenance input for the consortium’s bid.
When should we involve you?
As early as possible, preferably before the final design. The dimensions, overflow gutters and floors affect the installation design.
Can an existing concrete pool get a stainless-steel pool?
Yes. With RenovAction we install a new stainless-steel pool inside the existing concrete pool. We assess feasibility after an inspection. See renovate or rebuild.
Do you work exclusively with one installer?
No. We work with the installers and contractors chosen by the client or consortium, project by project.
Can you provide specification texts for a brief?
Yes, on request for consultants and architects. Contact us.
