Wellness and spa pools

Spa and wellness areas combine several small pools, each with its own temperature, depth and function. Myrtha Wellness builds them all on the same stainless steel system.

Thermal wellness pools

One system for the whole wellness area

Myrtha Wellness is the wellness division of Myrtha Pools. It applies the same PVC-laminated stainless steel panels to spa and wellness pools, so every basin in a wellness area is built with the same construction method, finish and watertightness. Myrtha Wellness pools have been chosen by hotel groups such as Hilton, Marriott and Accor.

Pool types

  • Hydromassage pools: water and air jets from neck to ankles, floor geysers and blowers, air beds and cervical fountains.
  • Cold plunge pools: small pools next to the sauna to cool down after the hot area; optionally with transparent walls.
  • Kneipp paths: a shallow walk-through pool of about 20 cm, alternating cold water of 14 °C and warm water of 35 °C.
  • Relax pools: very shallow pools of about 40 cm to sit or lie in.
  • Fitness and swimming pools for exercise and lap swimming within the wellness area.

Therapy and instruction pools

For rehabilitation and instruction, Myrtha recommends two water levels, for example 120 cm and 180 cm, with rails, stairs, seating and optional underwater windows or cameras. A movable floor makes one pool suitable for many depths and users. This is where EWAC’s own background lies: EWAC Medical has built hydrotherapy pools and movable floors for years.
